The open API for news on Helsinki’s hel.fi website

Through the open REST interface of the City of Helsinki [hel.fi website](https://www.hel.fi/helsinki/fi), you can search for news from the hel.fi website as open data in XML format. The content of the website is responsible for the communications of the Helsinki City Chancellery. You can search for all news on the interface or narrow the search for the language (language versions: Finnish, Swedish, English and Russian), by topic, district, group of residents or ID (id). The news is categorised by the City of Helsinki’s industries and businesses. Older news is categorised according to the previously used organisational structure. **Please note**: The City of Helsinki has all rights to the images used in the news.
