The purpose of the participation survey of the City of Vantaa is to survey the experiences and views of Vanta residents on their participation and influencing opportunities. Participation has now been solved three times at the city level. This dataset includes the responses to the participation surveys in 2020, 2021 and 2022. The topics of the survey included the experience of participation, motivation and opportunities to participate, familiarity with information and influence channels, impact of participation, satisfaction with opportunities to participate and influence, the preference of participation and influencing methods and trust in the city of Vantaa. The results of the survey will be used in the monitoring and development of the city’s participation work. The results are used for example in the work of the inclusion strategy theme, in the development of communication channels and in the planning of participation opportunities. ##Review of 2020 The survey was sent to 2,000 Vantanians. Based on previous experience, the sample was weighted under the age of 60, but otherwise the sample was random. The survey was conducted in three languages: Finnish, Swedish and English. The survey was open from 11 to 28 February 28.2.2020, and 555 Vantani responded to it. The emphasis was placed on young people under the age of 35, but otherwise the sample was random. The survey was conducted in three languages: Finnish, Swedish and English. The survey was open from 9 December 2020 to 10 January 2021, and 399 Vantalainen responded to it. The survey was conducted in three languages: Finnish, Swedish and English. The survey was open from 19 January 2012 to 11 February 2022, and 395 Vantalainen replied to it. For data protection reasons, some background information of the respondents has been removed. In addition, some open answers have been deleted due to inappropriate language use. In the case of double replies (e.g. the respondent submitted a reply both by post and online), the online response has been deleted.
