Vantaa ortho aerial photographs from different years are available through the WMS interface. The orthopic image is an aerial map of the whole Vantaa area. Ortho aerial image is an aerial image mosaic corrected to the map projection, which depicts the surface perpendicular to the air and corrected for the plane map. In addition, false colour images from Vantaa are available for the years 2011 and 2015. The wrong color image is also a georefered image (it can be used as a map), but it differs in color shades from other orthographs. The wrong color image shows the vegetation as red and the lifeless surface grey/blue depending on the color adjustments. False colour images can be used to identify tree species and the condition of the trees, and they are used in forest management planning.
