Vantaa bicycle traffic development survey

In spring 2021, the City of Vantaa commissioned a resident survey on cycling in the city. The purpose of the map survey was to find out the residents’ opinion on the promotion of bicycle traffic and the current state of play. The survey consisted of three different sections: background information, the current situation of bicycle traffic in Vantaa and the development of bicycle traffic in Vantaa. The types of questions varied from multiple-choice questions to open questions. In addition to the questions, the survey included three different map sections. All questions in the questionnaire are presented in the xlsx file tab “Questions for asking”. The survey was open from 16 April to 9 May 2021. The survey was carried out as a map survey on the Maptionnaire platform by Ramboll Finland Oy. 827 people responded to the survey. The answers to the questionnaire are available as an Excel file. In addition, the points marked on the map are available as a spatial data set (SHP). Its coordinate system is WGS84 (EPSG:4326). For data protection reasons, information about the postal code of the respondent’s residential area has been removed from the data published as open data. The answers to the open questions (questions 10, 12, 13, 17) have been completely deleted.
