Wheel Force Indicator

The wheel force detector is a track-mounted measuring device consisting of anchored sleepers and rails, which identifies the forces generated by the wheels of a moving train and applies them to the correct wheelset. The name, system, model, manufacturer, date of entry into service, location and status of the central unit (in use, not in use, not known) and location name, location of track, track mileage and track number related to the location shall be provided for the PD. Wheel force detectors are part of rolling stock monitoring equipment. The material covers railways owned by the Finnish Transport Agency. The source system of the data is the track object management application (RATKO) of the Track Infrastructure Management System (RATKO).
