Wind power labels in regional plans

The wind power labels of regional plans are a compilation of the current television labels of the regional plans. The compilation is based on uniform combinations of regional plans according to the HAME data model. The HAME combinations of the counties’ regional plans consist of regional and phase county plans made at different times in the area of the Federation. The hame-conscious regional plan combinations contain the valid design markings of the different formulas as a whole. The data includes schematic entries from all provinces except the Province of South Karelia. There are no wind power markings in the regional plans of South Karelia. The information product contains two layers of map (technical name in brackets): — Wind power areas (combined_wind_area) and — Wind turbines in dots (composition_wind power_points). The data can be downloaded in geopackage format from the Southwest Data Portal. The data can also be viewed in the Southwest data map service or in the geospatial software (WMS interface service). The datasets of the regional plans are managed by the Regional Council of Southwest Finland/Lounaistieto. The use of the material is free of charge and does not require authentication, i.e. authentication using a username and password.
