Dataset description

Estimate of emissions from all sectors of activity of the main air pollutants (Sulphur Dioxide SO2 — Nitrogen equivalent oxides NO2 — Suspended particulates PM10 — Fine particulates PM2.5 — Benzene C6H6 — Organic Compounds Non-Methanic VMVOC — Ammonia NH3 — Carbon Monoxide CO- Arsenic As — Cadmium Cd — Nickel Ni — Lead Pb — Benzo(a)pyrene BaP) for the years 2005, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019. The units are expressed in kg/year for the administrative unit associated with the region. The figures provided are from ATMO Grand Est’s V2021 inventory. The vast majority of the methodological elements used come from the work jointly led by the Fédération ATMO France, CITEPA and INRIS within the framework of the National Coordination Centre for Territorial Inventory (PCIT) led by the Directorate General of Energy and Climate of the Ministry of Ecological and Solidary Transition and published in the Methodological Guide for the preparation of territorial inventories. It is a complex technical guide to recommend methodologies for the development of inventories of pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions at the territorial level. The elements presented here come from the new version of the guide (June 2019 version), validated by the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition. This version 2 is an update of the first guide published in November 2012. The detailed methodological report associated with these data can be downloaded via this sheet.
