Ce peut être : - des aires de services - des aires de stationnement - des aires de camping-cars (stationnement et services) Les aires sont publiques ou privées. Dans ce dernier cas, elles portent simplement le nom du site où elles se trouvent (ex : Château Cazaux-Normand, Domaine de Grand Homme). Sont saisies ici les aires qui ne font pas partie d'un camping. Il est possible d'exploiter ensemble en sortie de SIT ces aires et les campings qui accueillent les camping-caristes.
