Dataset description

Decree No. 94-603 of 11 July 1994 specifies the content and procedure for drawing up the Departmental Career Scheme. It states, inter alia, that the scheme should be revised every 10 years. In Aquitaine, the quarry patterns of the five departments were approved between 1998 and 2006, and therefore, for the most part, need to be revised. The Regional Directorate of the Environment of Planning and Housing (DREAL) wishes to ensure the consistency and consistency of the update of the future Career Scheme in Aquitaine and plans to achieve it on a regional scale. Pending the definition and publication of the new regulatory framework, DREAL Aquitaine co-financed a study with the Bureau de Recherches Géologique et Minières (BRGM) in order to gather, organise, update and, where appropriate, carry out the basic elements necessary for this regional framework for materials management in Aquitaine. To clarify the potential of Aquitaine in terms of materials, a geographic information system has been developed including: — the homogenised regional geological map at 1/50 000 th — the map of potential resources (including the concept of use of geological layers) — the layers of external “stresses” which are called “layers of stakes” which consist of objective issues (roads, airports, urban boundaries,...) and environmental (ZNIEFF, Natura 2000,...). — the map of active careers in GIS format.
