The purpose of informing it of technological risks (PAC-RT) is, pursuant to Article L.132-2 of the Urban Planning Code and circular DPPR/SEI2/FA-07-0066 of 4 May 2007, to enable urban planning rules to be drawn up in order to control urbanisation in the vicinity of installations which give rise to a technological risk whose effect distances may extend beyond the boundaries of the property.
