Arvert-Ré-Oléron-Pertuis d’Antioche (1824,1840,1872, 1945, 1957, 1973, 2000, 2006, 2018)

Within the framework of two projects, followed by the morphological evolutions of the Charente-Maritime coastline (at the request of the CD17 led by Eric Chaumillon) and the EVEX Regional Chair project (piloted by Xavier Bertin), a synthesis of the evolutions of the coasts of the Charente Maritime was carried out. This study was carried out in the short term between 2000 and 2018 and in the long term between 1824 and 2018. Several rib traits have been digitised from 1824 until 2018. Coastal features digitised from historical old maps (1824/1872), the scan of the staff map (1820-1866), aerial photos (1945/1957/1973), the Ortho-Littorales v1 of 2000 and the 2006 Ortho IGN BD and the 2018 satellite orthophotography. The rib lines were digitised according to 3 different criteria: The vegetation limit, the foot of dune or the top of coastal works. In order to have a continuous stretch of coast it was extended to the whole department for the years 1824/1872/1945/1957/1973/2006/2018. The rib features were scanned under ArcGis 10.5.
