Dataset description

The cadastre plan is an administrative document that proposes the only large-scale parcel plan covering the national territory. The plan of the cadastre of a commune is divided into sections, which can be cut into subdivisions of sections, commonly referred to as “plane leaves”. — The cadastral section is a part of the communal territory whose perimeter is usually composed of boundaries with a relatively stable character on the ground (roads, roads, watercourses, etc.). — The plot is the basic cadastral unit. It is land of one tenant located in the same place and belonging to the same owner. — The plan of the cadastre in vector format is the result of the digitisation of the paper or raster cadastral plan carried out in the framework of agreements with local authorities. To a lesser extent, it was made directly in digital format in the context of the production of new cadastral plans (redesign procedure provided for by Law No 78-645 of 18 July 1974) or agricultural and forestry land development (commonly referred to as ‘rememberments’). Cadastral plans in vector format in metropolitan France are currently georeferenced in the legal system (RGF93) using “conical 9 zones” projections. The georeferencing of vector planes could be obtained: — when they are made (cases of very recent cadastral plans); — after transformation of their coordinates expressed in the Lambert Zone projection; — during their vectorisation (case of plans not initially georeferenced)
