Dataset description

This layer combines the representation of shell production areas and their protection zones. 1 — Production areas: Contours of the shell production areas defined by the prefectoral decree of 2 January 2017 (replaces the 2012 and 2015 decrees), which can be consulted on the site of the Prefecture of Côtes d’Armor. Areas are distinguished according to their group (1, 2 and 3) and their health classification (A, B,C). This classification covers areas where live shellfish are produced and areas where professional fishing activities are carried out on foot. It distinguishes shells from group 2 (figging bivalves), shellfish from group 3 (non-husker bivalves), and shellfish in group 1 (gasteropods, echinoderms and tunicates). The health classification of each zone in A, B, C or D is based on two types of criteria: — microbiological (measurement of E.Coli in shell flesh) — chemical (analysis of mercury, lead and cadmium content in shellfish flesh) Areas classified as D are the areas most exposed to pollution risks. They are located mainly upstream of the estuary, outlet at sea for sources of contamination from watersheds. 2 — Protected area: Unless otherwise provided, the classification of these areas requires a reduction of 500 m for livestock manure applications on agricultural land in accordance with the requirements laid down in the ICPE rules or by the 5th action programme adopted pursuant to the Nitrates Directive. 3 — These production and protection zones are represented in the layer by polygons having the following attributes: cd_zone char(10): zone code lb_zone char(64): language of the zone gr1, gr2, gr3: tank (3): ranking for each shell group. obs: tank (30): supplement to the ranking. management: char(20): if managed by another department. cd_sector, lb_sector: code and wording of the sector. url_arrete, url_annexe: link to the Order and its annexes. d_arrete:date of the classification order prod_prot: area of PRODuction or protection production areas have the value of “production area” The 500-metre regulatory band is represented in the layer by polygons with the prod_prot attribute value = regulatory protection zone: 0 to 500 m The interdepartmental protocol (Finistère et Côtes d’Armor) for the investigation of derogations uses 3 additional bands also represented: prod_prot = Protocol Protection Zone: 0 to 50 m Protocol Protection Zone: 50 to 200 m Protocol Protection Zone: 200 to 500 m These backtracks have no attributes other than prod_prot. The layer has 118 polygons.
