Dataset description

Methodology for the realisation of the map: The layer “less than 10 minutes” represents the areas from which you can get to the town hall of a Upper Pole in less than 10 minutes of commuting by Common Transport (urban buses, interurban buses, trains). The journey time corresponds to an average time on the hourly band 16:00-18:00 (travel time calculated by step of 5 minutes, then calculation of the average on the hourly band). The time allocated to a bus/car/train stop therefore corresponds to the average time, on the hourly range 16:00-18:00, to get to the nearest Upper Pole. The schedules of the lines correspond to a Tuesday during the school period. Permanent Equipment Base: Equipment, shops and services to the population are divided into three categories: those of proximity, those referred to as “intermediates” and those of the upper range. Service hubs A municipality is considered to be: a community service centre if it has at least 12 types of proximity equipment; an intermediate service hub it has at least 14 types of intermediate equipment; a superior service centre has at least 18 types of superior equipment. In metropolitan France, all poles are interlinked. Thus, each upper pole is also intermediate pole, itself being a proximity pole. The interlocking therefore implies that an intermediate pole is at the same time an intermediate pole and a pole of proximity without being a higher pole. c_PS_50_60min_tampon200 C_COMMUNE_region_centre c_pole_superior_tozh c_PS_30_40min_tampon200 c_PS_0_10min_tampon200 c_arrets_TC_Centre_PS c_PS_10_20min_tampon200 C_DEPARTMENTS_region_centre c_PS_20_30min_tampon200 c_PS_40_50min_tampon200
