Dataset description

* This layer includes areas where hunting is prohibited, the right to hunt cannot be exercised (even if the regulation of certain species is sometimes carried out on an ad hoc basis by the administration). These are: — CCAA reserves (CE L 422-23); — areas which have been the subject of special nature protection regulations (nature reserve, hunting and wildlife reserve, Natura 2000 etc.); — parcels refused hunting on the basis of personal convictions of the holder of the right to hunt (CE L 422-10-5); — areas demarcated as posing a safety risk (home entrances, peri-urban forest, etc.) * This layer also includes areas where the right to hunt is limited to certain species or periods or is shared. These are: — areas which have been the subject of special nature protection regulations (see above); — territories in opposition in CCAA for hunting water game or colombidae (CE L 422-13). This layer also includes territories under specific regulations such as enclosures (EC L422-20) This layer does not represent the territories where hunting is the subject of a usual prohibition (traffic roads, agglomeration, etc.). * A territory may be affected by several types. The territories thus defined may be covered.
