Dataset description

Groundwater Drought Monitoring Station __Origin__ Since 2005, a national water resource monitoring and management policy has been in place. Given the weather conditions, the Somme department knows, like many other departments, episodes of drought. The decree — framework of 14 April 2017, (for download below), prescribes coordinated water management measures on the river system of the department of Somme in times of drought, defines drought monitoring points and thresholds resulting in coordinated measures of temporary limitation of water uses. This decree specifies the measures of restrictions that may be taken from the alert for individuals, local authorities, farmers and industrialists (for download below). The department is divided into 9 sectors to which drought monitoring points are attached (for download below). On these follow-up points, thresholds have been defined: vigilance, alert, enhanced alert and crisis. They make it possible, in the event of drought, to take adequate, progressive and localised measures to ensure the quality and sustainability of water resources. __Partner organisations__ DDTM Somme __Links annexes__ * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-11644a04-b13a-4507-901c-3a8a438a89b1) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/5301ef2c89ecd0e7cd7bb88c42b5e38817725f9d)
