Indicators of sensitivity, exposure, adaptability and vulnerability of scallop fishing vessels in the Eastern Channel to the impacts of harmful algal blooms (HABs)

This dataset was built as part of the Interreg France-Manche-England S3-EUROHAB project. It contains the vulnerability indicators and its components (sensitivity, exposure and adaptability) of fishing vessels of scallops of the Eastern Channel in the face of closures of production areas due to contamination by toxic phytoplankton (HABs). The indicators were calculated for each category of fishing vessels, by production area and by fishing season between 2012-2013 and 2018-2019. The identification and calculation of the indicators are based on a characterisation (1) of fishing activity and (2) of the impact of HABs occurrences on the French coasts of the Eastern Channel.
