Dataset description

Areas belonging to the municipalities bordering the sea and the Lac de Grandlieu, identified by the Territorial Planning Directive (DTA) of the Loire estuary of 17 July 2006, which must be protected in territorial coherence schemes and local urban planning plans because they constitute ‘natural areas having the character of an urbanisation cut’ within the meaning of Article L.146-2 of the Urban Planning Code. This layer is supplemented by the layer “Cupures d’urbanisation within the meaning of the Loi Littoral en Loire Atlantique, only on the estuaries of the Loire and the Falleron” which delimits the urbanisation cuts on the municipalities bordering the estuaries of the Loire and Falleron within the meaning of Article L. 321-2 of the Environmental Code. The DTA now appears to be obsolete and its maintenance does not make it possible to fully secure, from a legal point of view, plans, projects and programmes relating to spatial planning. Therefore, it was decided to initiate the repeal of the DTA by regulation (Article L.172-5 of the Urban Planning Code) by implementing a voluntary approach to environmental assessment.
