Martinique Wetlands Inventory — 2012

The objective of this inventory is to identify and characterise all wetlands in Martinique in order to provide the various actors and managers with the tools necessary to implement a policy to protect Martinique’s natural heritage. __Origin__ A first inventory of Martinique wetlands was carried out in 2005. Today, it is an update of this inventory. The objective is to identify and characterise all wetlands in the department in order to provide the various actors and managers with the tools necessary to implement a policy to protect Martinique’s natural heritage. This update also makes it possible to refine the 2005 inventory and to report on the evolution of wetlands between the two periods.
