Le MNT est issu de la corrélation semi-automatique (grille des points altimétriques) et de la restitution photogrammétrique vectorielle tridimensionnelle des lignes de relief, Il est livré sous forme d’une grille de points altimétriques de 5 mètres et des lignes de forces. La précision planimétrique est 50 cm et l'altimétrique est de 30 cm dans les zones urbaines, 50 cm dans les zones rurales en plaine et 1m dans les zones montagneuses et forestières.
