Dataset description

This dataset contains the communes or communities of communes (surface objects) concerned by the Local Strategy for the Management of the Coast Trait of the New Aquitaine region. PLEASE NOTE: this dataset is not exhaustive on the perimeter of New Aquitaine. It concerns the perimeter of the former Aquitaine region. The Local Rating Trait Management Strategy (LTS) is identified as part of the MEM’s 2017-2019 Program for Integrated Coastline Management. SNGITC — Axis B — sub-action 1.6: Implement local shared coastline management strategies (SLGTCs) on coastal erosion-impacted territories, minimising their link with local flood risk strategies (LDRAS) or, where possible, by bringing the two exercises closer. The SLGTCs are intended to formulate guidelines and identify, on adapted scales, including retro-littoral spaces, coherent planning measures, preservation of natural areas, management of the natural maritime public domain, prevention of coastal risks and appropriate development. They can usefully be mobilised when drawing up flood prevention action programmes (PAPIs) in order to ensure that the actions proposed in these PAPIs are consistent with the objectives of coastal line management”.
