Cette couche représente les zones des cartes des vocations des documents stratégiques de façade Manche Est - Mer du Nord, Nord Atlantique - Manche ouest, Sud Atlantique et Méditerranée. Les cartes des vocations constituent la première planification des espaces maritimes réalisées sur l'ensemble des eaux sous juridiction. Elles font partie des stratégies de façade maritime (première et deuxième parties des DSF) approuvées par les préfets coordonnateurs de façade en septembre - octobre 2019.
