Dataset description

The Loire Amont PPRI delimits the areas where prohibition measures or prescriptions are applied in order not to aggravate the risk to human life or to cause new ones. This document is based on the flood of 1910 according to a scenario of disruption of the lifts. The PPRI zones (Article L 562-1 of the Environmental Code) are determined taking into account the nature and intensity of the risk involved; they include areas that are urbanised or not exposed to floods for a given occurrence and may include areas that are not directly exposed to risks but where the implementation of new projects could exacerbate the risks or create new ones. The prohibitions and requirements laid down in the PPRI regulations are accessible via the website of the state services in Loire-Atlantique. You will find them for download in the internet addresses listed in this metadata. The Loire Amont PPRI was approved on 12 March 2001. It concerns the municipalities of Ancenis, Anetz, Basse-Goulaine, Haute-Goulaine — La Chapelle-Basse-Mer, Le Cellier, Le Fresne-sur-Loire, Mauves-sur-Loire, Montrelais, Oudon, Saint-Géréon, Saint-Herblon, Saint-Julien-de-Concelles, Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire, Thouaré-sur-Loire, Varades.
