Protection zone for urban and landscaped architectural heritage in Seine-et-Marne

Protection zones established around historical monuments and in neighbourhoods and sites to be protected or enhanced for aesthetic, historical or cultural reasons. They are set up at the initiative and after agreement of the municipalities see Law No. 93-24 of 8 January 1993 (art. 70) The Act of 12 July 2010 on a national commitment for the environment created the areas for the development of architecture and heritage (AVAP). Their purpose is to replace the ZPPAUPs, by integrating, among other things, the objectives of sustainable development into their heritage and urban approaches.The current ZPPAUPs will continue to produce their effects for a period of five years from the entry into force of the law, i.e. until 14 July 2015. The ZPPAUPs currently being developed, modified or revised on that date are subject to transitional measures. These are utility easements (SUPs) of type AC4.
