Scope of public institutions for inter-municipal cooperation (own taxation or other) Please note: available to other ministries and EPCI municipalities, but not to the general public Public institutions for inter-municipal cooperation (EPCI) are groupings of municipalities whose purpose is to draw up “common development projects within solidarity zones”. They are subject to common rules which are homogeneous and comparable to those of local authorities. The information presented here relates to private taxation EPCI: Urban Community (CU); Community of Agglomeration (CA); Community of Communes (CC); Union d’Agglomération Nouvelle (SAN); Metropolis (ME).
