Recording of climatic and societal forcings on the functioning of dead arms of the Rhône in the Lower Dauphinois Lands (low Middle Ages to subcurrent)

Results of multi-proxie analyses (sedimentology, geochemistry, palynology, ostracodes) on sedimentary cores of dead upper arms (Saugey and Dead Water). The research is based on a comparative approach to pedo-sedimentary filling and subcurrent and ancient dead arm biocenosis (low Middle Ages), as part of the search for analogues to current global warming.
