Dataset description

The Act on Solidarity and Urban Renewal (Law SRU) of 13 December 2000 provides for the establishment, from 1 January 2002, of territorial coherence schemes, which replace the master plans. Developed by the elected representatives, at the scale of the living basin, d' habitat or d' employment, they will have as their vocation to; express the overall strategy of the Â#x27; agglomeration and d' set out the main choices in terms of?#x27; habitat, d#x27; balance between natural and urban areas, d' infrastructures, d' commercial urban planning. In peri-urban areas, in case the SCOT does not exist, any area of urbanisation will be blocked, unless agreed by the prefect, within a radius of 15 km around the communes of l' agglomeration if the latter has more than 15,000 inhabitants. __Origin__ The geometry of n°#x27;a perimeter of SCOT is constructed by l' geometric aggregation of polygons representing the municipalities forming part of this SCOT.
