Dataset description

This table contains the information and information collected from the Department’s Public Institutions for Intercommunal Cooperation (EPCI) in the framework of surveys carried out by the Departmental Directorate of the Territories of Maine-et-Loire. The definition of areas of activity meets one or more of the following criteria: — a regulatory criterion: an area of activity may be assimilated to a right-of-way provided for in the planning document (area UY or Nay with alternative POS or U regulation or AU indicated PLU); this area can be equipped and marketed in the short term. — an operational criterion: area which has been the subject of an operational urban planning procedure (ZAC, artisanal or industrial subdivision). — a geographical criterion: an area where there is a significant concentration of activities and is treated as a “de facto zone” (without an ACZ procedure or subdivision). According to the information provided, the concept of ‘unit’ of an area of activity may reflect two different situations: — an activity area may group an initial area and its extensions when those extensions remain ‘measured’. — in the case of a more “significant” extension, this extension can be considered as a new area. In this case, the same industrial unit may consist of several units accounted for under different denominations (numbered or own toponyms). As in any statistical survey, there may still be some omissions and the figures for marketing may have changed in particular for previous years (e.g. surface grinding following unrealised sales promises,...) The data represented came from the latest 2021 survey on the situation as at 31 December 2020.
