The product BD Alti® version 2 is a digital model of meshed terrain whose purpose is to describe the French terrain. It describes the shape and elevation of the soil surface on a large scale. It is an interpolated representation of the soil surface. It is not always strictly in line with reality. It is designed for use on scales between 1: 70,000 and 1: 700 000.
The BD Alti® version 2 is a subsampled version of the RGEAlti®. It is available in steps of 25 m, 75 m and 250 m
