Dataset description

The definitions of plant formations and the zoning procedure are contained in circular DERF/SDF/C2002-3017 of 24 September 2002. These areas are demarcated when drawing up the plan for the protection of forests against fires or on the basis of a specific study with regard to classified wood (outside the scope of Article L. 321-6 of the Forest Code). For the purposes of Prefectural Decree No 2013343-0007 of 9 December 2013, areas exposed to the risk of forest fires shall mean forest mass exposed to the risk of fire, land in kind of wood, forest, scrub, heath, scrub, planting or reforestation, constituting continuous and homogeneous forest massifs, excluding forest formations subject to low risks, and areas situated less than 200 metres from those massifs. Exposed spaces (Massif + 200 m: use of fire, works, OLD, etc.) More information on enforcement zoning of forest fire prevention regulations; Areas at risk of forest fires: https://www.bouches-du-rhone.gouv.fr/Politiques-publiques/Agriculture-foret-et-developpement-rural/Foret/Espaces-exposes-aux-risques-d-incendie-de-foret
