Dataset description

Delimitation of territories according to the method of management of the right to hunt. The right to hunt belongs to the owner of the land. Depending on the case, this right may be exercised directly or leased in a strictly private context, be managed more or less administratively or be transferred to a structure. The following shall be distinguished: territories in which rights: — are managed entirely privately on private property; — are managed by the State in its field: State forests (EC L 422-29), sea hunting (EC L 422-28), public river domain (EC D 422-28), military land; — are managed directly by other public bodies (in particular local authorities)in their own domain; — are transferred by prefectural order to an ACCA without distinction from the opposing grounds for water game and colombidae (CE L 422-10); — are part of the collective management of the municipality (Alsace Moselle CE L422-13); — are transferred to the departmental federation of hunters (enclave CE L 422-20). Some special cases are found in the N_CHASSE_EXERCICE layer. The territories of this layer shall not, by construction, be covered.
