Dataset description

Regulatory zoning of the PPRI project, with certain provisions put into force immediately, on the municipality of Sanary-sur-Mer (Var) linked to the basin of the Grand Vallat (applies only to the part of the Grand Vallat, the PPRI de La Reppe applies in the other case). The Risk Prevention Plans (P.P.R) codified in Articles L 562-1 to L 562-7 and R 562-1 et seq. of the Environmental Code, relating to the prevention of foreseeable natural hazards, the implementation of which is governed by Decree No 95-1089 of 5 October 1995, constitute one of the tools for the implementation of the State policy on flood prevention, which was redefined in the Interministerial Committee of 24 January 1994. This legislative and regulatory framework was supplemented by the Act of 30 July 2003. A flood risk prevention plan for the river Grand Vallat and its main tributaries was prescribed on 11 February in the municipalities of Bandol and Sanary-sur-Mer. Given the need not to compromise the subsequent application of the RIP through increased risk, there was an urgent need to regulate identified risk areas. Certain provisions of the draft PPRI were made immediately enforceable by prefectural decree of 22 December 2017. The requirements of the Regulation apply only to new constructions, structures and developments or new operations.
