Dataset description

This sheet provides access to localised data on regulatory zoning of approved forest fire PPRs in the Vaucluse. The Environmental Code governs the establishment of PPRNs, including their regulatory zoning. This mapping document comes from the analysis of the territory subject to natural risk, from the point of view of the intensity of the natural phenomenon but also of the existence and vulnerability of the issues impacted. Synthetically, the regulatory zoning of PPRNs, including PPR Forest Incendies, delineates the following areas: — inconstructible areas, where the general rule is the prohibition on the establishment of new constructions, unless otherwise permitted under conditions; — construction areas, where the general rule is to allow new constructions to be installed in accordance with requirements adapted to the type of issue; Outside the areas demarcated in the regulatory zoning, urbanisation is not regulated under the PPRN, but may be regulated under other provisions, including those of the current urban planning document and the Forest Code. The objective of a Forest Fire RPP is to limit the vulnerability of existing or future human issues (goods and people). Achieving this objective requires a thorough knowledge of the following elements and their interactions: The forest fire at any point in the territory concerned; The issues subject to this hazard and their organisation; The means of protecting these issues. The regulatory zoning of a PPRif is therefore intended to specify, for each point in the territory concerned, any prohibitions and requirements relating to construction enabling that objective to be pursued. Its preparation therefore results from the simultaneous consideration of the three components.
