Dataset description

Contours of the protection zones of shell production areas, known as the 500-metre band. The Orders of 4 August 2009 (amending the Orders of 7 February 2005) of the Ministry of Ecology laying down the technical rules to be complied with by holdings of cattle, poultry and/or game birds and pigs subject to declaration or authorisation under Book V of the Environmental Code prohibit the application of less than 500 m of shellfish farming areas and a reduction of 500 m for the construction of livestock buildings. The 500 m band represented here is defined as a buffer zone of 500 m in relation to the boundaries of shell production areas defined by Prefectural Decree 2013-15077 of 7 October 2013, also published here. Unless otherwise provided, the classification of these areas requires a reduction of 500 m for livestock manure applications on agricultural land in accordance with the requirements laid down in the ICPE rules or by the fourth action programme adopted pursuant to the Nitrates Directive. In the case of holdings in classified installations, a reduction of 500 m is also required for the construction of livestock buildings and their annexes. The Order of 14 March 2014 establishing the 5th Regional Action Programme Nitrates Directive renews, for organic nitrogen fertilisers, the obligation to respect a minimum distance of 500 m from shellfish-growing areas with the possibility of derogation (link métadonnées:https://geobretagne.fr/geonetwork/srv/fre/catalog.search?s_E_orgName=DDTM%2035%20(Direction%20D%E9partementale%20of20Territories%20and%20la%20Mer%20d%27Ille-et-Vilaine) & s_timeType=true & s_search & s_O_inspirerelated=false & s_E_hitsperpage=50 & s_scaleOn=false#/metadata/296a3a46-2339-4a6f-8a68-bba8f1d3ce97)
