N_ENJEU_PPRN_20030002_S_019 Regional Issues in the IRPP 2006 Preliminary Corrèze — Corrèze PPRI Upstream Corrèze 2006 Upstream Corrèze Basin Natural Flood Risk Prevention Plan 2006 — Corrèze The PPRi covers 13 municipalities: Aubazine, Bar, Chameyrat, Chanac-les-Mines, Cornil, Dampniat, Gimel-les-Cascades, Laguenne, Les Angles-sur-Corrèze, Naves, Sainte-Fortunade, Saint-Hilaire-Peyroux, Tulle Natural PPRs are established in accordance with the provisions of Article L. 562-1 of the Environmental Code. In exposed areas, depending on the intensity of the risk, they shall define the prohibition zones for constructions and installations in order not to aggravate the risk, or, in areas where constructions and installations may be authorised, the implementation requirements. The PPRi of the upstream Corrèze basin, approved on 09/10/2006, covers 13 municipalities The rivers concerned are Corrèze, Solane, Cerona, Montane, Vimbelle, Chanac Creek, Saint-Bonette and Ganette, Roanne. The reference flood is the strongest known history of October 1960. The purpose of the regulations is to prevent the risk to people and property. For this purpose the flood-free territory is classified in red (strict inconstructibility), dark blue (very limited construction with prescriptions) or light blue (constructible under conditions)
