Dataset description

The Perimeter of areas exposed to natural hazards was approved by prefectural decree of 26 February 1992 adopted pursuant to Article R 111.3 of the Urban Planning Code. Article R111.3 of the CU has been PPR since Law No 95-101 of 02 February 1995. Following a collapse on 22 August 1992, the delimitation of areas at risk of land movement in the municipality of Bargemon was amended by prefectural decree approved on 1 February 1994. For natural PPRs, the Environmental Code defines two categories of zones (L562-1): risk-exposed areas and areas that are not directly exposed to risks but where measures can be foreseen to avoid exacerbating the risk. Depending on the hazard level, each area is subject to an enforceable settlement. The regulation of the Bargemon Field Movements PPR distinguishes two types of areas: 1- ‘inconstructible areas’, known as ‘areas 1’ (or generally red zones), where the hazard level is high and the general rule is the prohibition on construction; 2- “Building zones with implementation of parades”, so-called “zones 2”, (or generally blue zones) where the hazard level is average and the projects are subject to requirements adapted to the type of issue;
