Dataset description

A wind farm is an aggregate of one or more wind turbines producing electricity. A wind farm is a wind power generating unit with a single operator. A wind farm is composed of one or more wind turbines producing electricity. A park requires one or more building permits and is subject to an administrative procedure, conducted in DDT. A park can only have one operator. The provisions of the Environment Grenelle require the construction of wind farms: — a minimum number of 5 machines for installations whose application for a building permit was submitted after the publication of Law 2010-788 of 12/07/2010; — a wind turbine of less than 30 metres and less than 250 kW. The definition of wind farm has no administrative or regulatory basis. It is a purely abstract class corresponding to an aggregate of wind turbines. The polygonal geometry of a wind farm is only a proposed artifice for mapping wind turbines on a small scale. A wind farm is therefore represented by arbitrary boundaries and does not correspond to any administrative or physical hold on the ground. Monitoring of operating rights and disposals of wind farms not included in the objectives of the terrestrial COVADIS Eolien standard, a change of operator on part of a wind farm is an unmodelled case. This event does not result in any change in the existing occurrence, thus maintaining the consistency of the relationship with wind power building permits (N_PC_EOLIEN_ddd, #1487) and CODOA certificates (N_CODOA_EOLIEN_ddd, n°#1486). Only the name of the company operating the park at the time of its creation can be filled in. The monitoring of operators is the responsibility of the management of the ICPEs.
