Dataset description

Category EL9 easements relate to coastal crossing easements designed to ensure pedestrian crossing along the coast and to provide them with free access to the coastline. In addition to a right of passage for pedestrians, it prohibits the owners of the encumbered land and their dependants from making changes to the state of the premises which may, even temporarily, impede the free passage of pedestrians, unless authorised in advance by the prefect, for a maximum period of six months. The easement also establishes a right of way for the competent administration to establish the necessary signage to specify the location of the easement and to carry out the work necessary to ensure the free passage and safety of pedestrians, subject to fifteen days’ notice except in cases of emergency. Easement includes: 1. A longitudinal passage easement at the shore of the sea that strikes on a three-metre wide strip the private shoreline properties of the marine public domain. 2. A cross-crossing easement at the shore of the sea which may be instituted on existing private roads and roads, with the exception of those reserved for professional use, in order to connect the public road to the shoreline of the sea or to the paths of immediate access to it, in the absence of a public road situated less than five hundred metres and allowing access to the shoreline. This resource describes the surface plates of the EL9 easements, namely the coastal trail right-of-way. This table “EL9_ASSIETTE_SUP_S” made from the CNIG SUP v2016b standard is part of a set of 6 tables to connect to obtain complete information about the EL9 easements. They are freely downloaded on the Geoportal of Urban Planning (GPU) including the acts establishing each bondage. The download link is given on this sheet in associated resources. Apart from this CNIG standard, the flat source table of the EL9 easements containing in a single layer all the information of the easements is also made available to the design offices to facilitate the postponement to the overall plan annex easements of the planning documents.
