Dataset description

Acceslibre provides accessibility information to buildings receiving the public, in order to facilitate the mobility of persons with disabilities. **Context** Beyond the law of 1 January 2015, which stipulates that any institution receiving the public (ERP) must be accessible to all, including persons with disabilities, regardless of their disability, Acceslibre identifies establishments receiving the public and informs about their level of accessibility. The objective is to allow the disabled user to know the accessibility of an institution before going there. To do this, Acceslibre collects accessibility data by involving local authorities and ERP managers, as well as users. The latter will be able to contribute collaboratively to enrich the base by describing a facility visited or by providing feedback on its experience, via a form available on the website http://acceslibre.info. For managers, Acceslibre will highlight the accessibility of their facility. For administrations, Acceslibre will provide a comprehensive vision on the accessibility of facilities and thus better target the strategy to advance the accessibility policy of the territory. The Acceslibre team will provide actors with a CSV generator in accordance with the data scheme, as well as a validator for communities who would like to create the file by them. **Finality** The database of ERP accessibility information in France makes it possible to group together in a single consolidated file all the accessibility data of establishments in a standard and unified format. This standardisation of data greatly facilitates the re-use of this data by third-party services. It makes it possible to present with a remarkable and up-to-date level of LES data for each surveyed community. For example, this allows innovative services to offer point-to-point mobility services such as MaaS (Mobility as a Service) to their users, combining transport data and destination accessibility information. It can also be used to provide greater transparency on the provision of services to citizens in a city, also allowing elected officials to anticipate their choices in terms of urban planning, inclusion and social policy. **Data** Important work has been done to define the most relevant data for users. The data model is in line with the draft accessibility data standard currently being developed by the CNIG. see [accessibility field documentation](https://acceslibre.beta.gouv.fr/contrib/documentation/) see [accessibility data schema](https://schema.data.gouv.fr/MTES-MCT/acceslibre-schema/latest.html) Learn more about [Acceslibre and opendata](https://fabrique-numerique.gitbook.io/acceslibre/acceslibre-en-open-data-donnees-ouvertes)
