Dataset description

The neighbourhoods which, as of 31 December 2014, are covered by a zoning of the city’s policy and which do not have the characteristics of the city; a priority area of the city’s policy as of 1 January 2015 are the subject of an active monitoring system put in place by the State and local authorities." Sensitive urban areas (ZUS) and neighbourhoods in urban contracts for social cohesion (CUCS) which are not replaced by the priority districts of the city policy (QPV), are placed under the active watch district (QVA) system provided that their contours are not adjoining those of the priority neighbourhoods of the city’s policies. In this respect and at the request of the president of the public inter-municipal cooperation institution and the mayors concerned, the districts placed in active monitoring devices shall be the subject of a city contract in accordance with the procedures laid down in I of Article 6. The city contract defines the means mobilised within the framework of the common law policies of the State and local and regional authorities in order to strengthen the situation of these neighbourhoods.
