**The Solidarity Fund** In the context of the COVID-19 outbreak, the State has set up, together with the Regions, a solidarity fund with EUR 1.7 billion for March 2020 that will allow the payment of tax relief of up to EUR 1.500 to smaller businesses, self-employed, micro-entrepreneurs and liberal professions affected by the coronavirus crisis. This fund will be maintained as long as the health emergency lasts. For further information on the Solidarity Fund, please visit the information page available at https://www.impots.gouv.fr/portail/. **Description of data ** These data are derived from: * The [SIRENE base](https://public.opendatasoft.com/explore/dataset/sirene_v3/table/?disjunctive.libellecommuneetablissement&disjunctive.etatadministratifetablissement&disjunctive.sectionetablissement&disjunctive.naturejuridiqueunitelegale&sort=datederniertraitementetablissement) of the INSEE companies and their establishments; * The Official Geographical Code (COG) of INSEE; * Of INSEE’s French activity nomenclature * The Solidarity Fund aid database operated by the Directorate-General for Public Finance (DGFIP) for component 1. The data inform, at regional granularity, and for successive aid allocation strands (component 1, component 2 and component 3 to come): * the number of aid granted; * the total amount of aid granted in euro; * the sector of activity of the beneficiary companies (via a section of the NAF code). ** Enrichment** * addition of iso 3166 codes of the different zones; * added centroids of departments.
