Aid undertaken

The database [aids-enterprises.fr](http://www.aides-entreprises.fr), set up by the Government as part of the simplification programme for enterprises, constitutes the reference database on **public financial aid to entrepreneurs and project leaders**. This common base of information on aid to companies brings together both national and territorial public funders, funders with whom updating processes are developed in order to feed the base in a reactive way. The **Directorate-General of Enterprises** (DGE), which is piloting the project with the**Institut Supérieur des Métiers** (ISM), wished as soon as the company aids department set up the project as part of the national policy of opening public data. In 2017, the business support department launched the first developments in favour of open data, to offer in April 2018 free and unconstrained access to information on public aid. Each help referenced in our database is indexed according to many criteria: This **indexing plan** is central. Each of the devices listed in the Directory must be linked to one or more of the sub-headings of the indexing plan. When conducting a research in the business support department, it is advisable to specify the project (step 2) relating to the funding requirement (step 1). This precision will avoid informational noise and should respond finely to the user’s needs. The indexation plan was developed on the basis of an analysis of the existing one. Central for the business support service, it is likely to evolve both according to the supply of public authorities (adaptation) as well as to the demand of financiers and/or users who would notice possible improvements in indexation (evolution).
