Dataset description

The objective of these stations is to monitor the average level of exposure of the population to so-called “bottom” air pollution phenomena in urban centres. They are located in densely populated areas (between 3,000 and 4,000 inhabitants/km²) and remote from direct sources of pollution. Pollutants monitored: It measures the content of fine particulate matter (PM10), nitrogen oxides (NO+NO2), ozone (O3) and sulphur dioxide (SO2) Sources & transmitters: Transport, heating, industries.
