Annual regional renewable energy production (2008 to 2021)

This dataset presents the annual regional renewable energy productions in France (GWh) for electricity since 2008 and 2015 for gas. For biomethane, the quantities injected into the gas networks (distribution and transmission networks) in France are counted at the transport/distribution interface points. The injections are therefore assigned to the region of the counting point and not to that of the site where this is different. According to the Order of 8 November 2007 adopted pursuant to Article 2 of Decree No 2006-1118 of 5 September 2006 on guarantees of origin for electricity produced from renewable energy sources or by cogeneration, the renewable part is calculated as follows: * Hydraulic: 70 % of pumping consumption is subtracted. * Bioenergy: The production of domestic waste incineration plants is accounted for at 50 %.
