Approvals for adoption issued within one year * * * This dataset shall include the number of approvals for adoption requested and issued within the year and the number of valid approvals as at 31 December per municipality of residence of applicants or approved persons. The interdepartmental approval and adoption department of the Hauts-de-Seine and Yvelines Departments is competent to investigate the application for approval for adoption, essential prior to adopting a French or foreign child, of any person residing in Hauts-de-Seine and Yvelines. The decision shall be taken by the Chairman of the Department. Once granted, approval is granted for a period of five years.
