Aquitaine: Eolien regional scheme — Unfavourable municipalities to wind power

Location of municipalities unfavourable to the development of wind energy, defined in the “regional wind scheme” approved on 6 July 2012 and annexed to the regional climate, air and energy scheme (SRCAE). These favourable areas have been identified, on the one hand, taking into account the wind potential and, on the other hand, servitudes, the rules for the protection of natural areas as well as the natural and cultural heritage, landscaping, technical constraints and regional guidelines for the production of energy (SRCAE). A list of the municipalities in which these favourable zones are located has been drawn up and appears in the Prefectural Decree of 6 July 2012. The territories of these municipalities constitute the territorial delimitations of the wind regional scheme within the meaning of Article L. 314-9 of the Energy Code. ATTENTION: this dataset is not exhaustive on the perimeter of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, it concerns the perimeter of the former Poitou-Charentes region.
