Dataset description

Sound classification is intended to systematically inform building builders so that new buildings built on the outskirts of; land transport infrastructure are isolated according to their sound exposure to them. Noise classification is a prefectural decree classifying land transport infrastructures into five categories (from 1 to 5) according to the noise level that they generate, with category 1 being the loudest. An area affected by noise is defined on both sides of each classified infrastructure. These areas must be carried over to the graphical documents of the urban planning document. The Prefectural Decree n°2015-DDT-830 of 1 September 2015 defines the list of infrastructures concerned in Vienna and their category. __Origin__ The noise-affected sectors were made from buffers along the sections of Vienna’s road and rail infrastructure noise classification (©IGN-BD TOPO® 2014). The buffer value corresponds to the maximum width of the sector defined according to the category of track d (see decree of 30 May 1996) to which half the width of the track is added. For information category 1, d= 300 m; category 2, d= 250 m, category 3, d= 100 m and category 4, d= 30 m. Vienna is concerned only by categories 1 to 4. __Partner organisations__ DDT Vienna __Links annexes__ * [HTML view of metadata on the Internet](http://catalogue.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/catalogue/srv/fre/catalog.search#/metadata/fr-120066022-jdd-a41d63ac-f8e5-476e-8f12-a95016dd825b) * [XML metadata view](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/csw/all-dataset?REQUEST=GetRecordById&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&RESULTTYPE=results&elementSetName=full&TYPENAMES=gmd:MD_Metadata&OUTPUTSCHEMA=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd&ID=fr-120066022-jdd-a41d63ac-f8e5-476e-8f12-a95016dd825b) * [noise classification of Vienna’s land transport infrastructure](http://carto.geo-ide.application.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/185/FB_clt_sonore_2015.map) * [basic URL of wms/wfs services on the Internet](http://ogc.geo-ide.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/wxs?map=/opt/data/carto/geoide-catalogue/1.4/org_38112/a55bb5ac-f1e6-4805-b4df-8354a8131a44.internet.map) [See this page on geo.data.gouv.fr](https://geo.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/e4ff92eb34ac807ce738ba1d1ed5e51b41fab8ac)
