Dataset description

The dataset concerns aid granted in 2013 and 2014 as part of the aid to the territorial residence for street and circus arts. The residence is understood as the association of an artist or artistic team and a local community or host structure around a street or track arts residency project in the public space. The aim is to promote the sustainable presence of artists in a territory for a period that exceeds that of the simple presentation of a work or a show. This presence is part of a local development strategy and is based on a threefold mission: the creation or presentation of work stages or models, the wide and diversified dissemination of production and awareness-raising and support actions among the population. **_Beneficiaries_** This regional aid may be granted by structures which act for the development of the creation, production and dissemination of works in public spaces: street or circus company, artist collective, operator involved in street art fields and circus arts; local authorities and institutional places. The reception structure must be equipped with sufficient human, logistical and technical resources to ensure the feasibility of the residence. ** _Eligibility conditions_** Eligible projects must develop around a territorial residence (creation or establishment) in Île-de-France, over a specified period of time: \- less than 6 months for so-called creative residences \- from 6 months to 1 year for settlement residences. Priority will be given to projects taking place in territories where the artistic fields of street and circus arts are less or less present. They must meet the following criteria: \- concern artists/companies whose creation or territory project is part of the public space. Projects under capital or in public space for the arts of the track are concerned. specify the conditions of the residence by detailing in particular the artistic project, the duration of the residence, contributions in kind, cash, etc. \- the creative residency will aim to achieve a production from the rehearsal phase to the stage creation phase the settlement residence will necessarily involve artistic and cultural actions on the host territory with the inhabitants to promote in general a living relationship of the inhabitants to creation in the public space \- be the subject of an agreement between the artistic team and the community or place of reception. develop technical and possibly administrative support. The project leader must receive financial and/or in-kind support from a public partner other than the Region. _ **nature and modalities of the aid**_ Regional aid accompanies specific projects delimited over time and may be renewed. This aid cannot be combined with that allocated under the regional scheme of artistic and cultural permanence and support for networks. The same structure may receive support under each of these two schemes once any project subsidised under either of the schemes has been completed. The aid is set at 50 % of the subsidising expenditure excl. or TTC if the structure does not recover VAT, up to a maximum subsidy ceiling of EUR 20 000, for residence of 1 to 6 months and EUR 40 000 for residence from 6 to 12 months. All expenditure attributable to the territorial residence proposed under this project shall be eligible. _Assessment criteria_ Presentation of a residency project resulting from a co-development process between the artist/company and the host community/structure. The nature, the objectives, the content of the residence resulting from a co-development process between the project leaders \- The coherence of the budget and the sustainability of the project \- Proposal for a “return” of residence work Compliance with the laws in force and the remuneration of artists within the framework of the minima provided for in the professional agreements Priority is given to projects that are part of a virtuous social, environmental and energy approach, the fight against global warming, the protection of biodiversity and more broadly at the environmental level. Particular attention will be paid to the eco-sustainability of projects.
