Dataset description

The data of this layer represent the areas filled in in the alluvial plain of the Loire. They have been identified with the precision field numerical model, the Litto 3D and supplemented by field visits, databases provided by the GIP Loire Estuaire and l' analysis of maps and ancient aerial photographs. L' all embankments n' is not represented on this layer. Only the most important embankments that can have impacts on the flows are represented on this layer. L' scale of realisation of the l'atlas (1/25000 to 1/10000) does not take into account any small local embankments that can be made at the point of #x27; scale of small plots. This layer identifies the embanked areas in the alluvial plain of the Loire but does not specify their impact on the modification of natural flows (the originally floodable areas that were then filled are still floodable?) Territory concerned: Zone of the Loire (from Couéron to Saint Nazaire on the right bank and from Pellerin to Saint Brévin les Pins on the left bank) __Origin__ The data of this layer represent the areas filled in in the alluvial plain of the Loire.
