Dataset description

Produced by the National Institute of Geographical and Forest Information (IGN-F), the TOPO® BD version 3.3 contains a 3D vector description (structured into objects) of the elements of the territory and its infrastructures, of metric precision. The objects of the BDTOPO® are structured into themes: * administrative * addresses * building * hydrography * places named * land use * services and activities * transportation * restricted areas. The 3D production process makes it possible to provide the altimetry of the objects, as well as the height of the buildings. The relief is described in the form of numerical terrain models (NTMs). In version 3.3, all objects have a unique identifier that is stable over time. OPenIG makes available the download links of the TOPO® All Themes in shapefile format: * by departments for each of the 13 departments of Occitanie: Ariège (09), Aude (11), Aveyron (12), Gard (30), Haute-Garonne (31), Gers (32), Hérault (34), Lot (46), Lozère (48), Hautes-Pyrénées (65), Pyrénées-Orientales (66), Tarn (81), Tarn-et-Garonne (82); * for the Occitanie region. **In order to download the available resources via an FTP link, use an FTP client such as [FileZilla](https://filezilla-project.org/) for example. Once the client is installed, you will need to paste the link of the resource in “Host” and then click on “Quick Log in”. Once connected to the remote site, you will have access to the resources you can download.** The associated documentation is also available.
